Privacy Policy for rewivaQ
Effective date: 29 September 2026
rewivaQ is provided by Rewacon Foundation. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the rewivaQ website or Android app. The Android app displays the rewivaQ website within the app, so this policy covers both experiences.
1. Information we handle
- Patient queue information: A patient may enter a clinic-issued paper token number to view queue position and an estimated wait. Patients do not need to create an account to view participating doctors and public queue information.
- Clinic and doctor information: Doctor names, clinic details, consultation hours, photographs, reception contact details and queue status may be displayed to patients.
- Staff account information: For authorized staff, we handle account identifiers, email addresses, assigned roles and doctor permissions to provide access to reception, operator and admin functions.
- Queue operations: We handle token numbers, issuance and serving status, OPD status, rescheduling information and operational history entered by authorized clinic staff. If a clinic enters a patient name or note into an available field, that information may be stored with the relevant queue record.
- Technical information: Our hosting, authentication and database providers may process information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, diagnostic events and authentication activity to deliver and secure the service.
2. How we use information
We use this information to display participating clinics and live queues, calculate approximate waiting times, manage clinic operations, authenticate staff, enforce staff permissions, maintain service reliability and respond to support or privacy requests.
3. Local storage and reminders
rewivaQ may use browser storage or similar on-device storage to remember a tracked token, reminder settings and limited app state. Optional reminders depend on the device, browser or app notification settings. They are best-effort alerts, not guaranteed alarms. Closing the app, battery restrictions or device settings may delay or prevent an alert. Patients should check the live queue and follow clinic announcements.
You can manage notification permission through your device or browser settings. Clearing the app's or browser's stored data may remove locally saved preferences and reminders.
4. Service providers and external links
We use Google Firebase services for functions such as hosting, staff authentication and queue data storage. These providers process information to help us operate the service. Tapping a clinic phone number may open your device dialer; tapping directions may open Google Maps or another map service. Those external services have their own privacy practices.
We do not sell patient token information or staff account information.
5. Access and visibility
Published doctor profiles and live queue information are intended to be publicly viewable. Staff account records and management controls are intended for authorized personnel. Clinics should avoid entering medical diagnoses or other sensitive health details in public queue notices or token records.
6. Data retention and deletion
Active queue information is maintained for clinic operations and may be reset as OPD sessions close or new daily sessions begin. Some operational records may remain for administration, troubleshooting or legal needs. Staff account information is kept while access is required and is removed when no longer needed, subject to applicable obligations and provider backup periods.
To request access, correction or deletion of information associated with you, contact us at the address below. Include enough detail for us to identify the relevant account or record, but do not send passwords or sensitive medical information by email.
7. Security
We use access controls and authenticated staff roles to limit changes to clinic and queue information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
rewivaQ is a clinic queue information service and is not designed for children to create accounts. If you believe a child's personal information has been entered improperly, contact us so we can review it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the current version took effect.
